Mano Cruises Launches 2025 Eastern Mediterranean Season with Crown Iris Ship

Mano Cruises, based in Israel, has officially begun its 2025 season in the Eastern Mediterranean with its ship, Crown Iris. After a winter layup, the 1,500-passenger vessel set sail on March 27, 2025, from its home port in Haifa, Israel.

The inaugural voyage featured a 3-night journey to Cyprus, including an overnight stop in Limassol. Throughout the season, Crown Iris will operate various short cruises lasting 2 to 4 nights, allowing passengers to explore significant ports in Cyprus and Greece. These include Larnaca, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Piraeus, as well as lesser-known destinations like Agios Nikolaos, Santorini, Thessaloniki, Patmos, Volos, and Mykonos.

Beyond these regional sailings, Crown Iris will embark on extended trips across the Mediterranean. On April 20, 2025, it departed Haifa for a 12-night cruise through the Central Mediterranean, stopping at Heraklion, Chania, Valletta, Catania, Palermo, Civitavecchia, and Naples, returning to Israel in early May.

Additionally, the 2025 program introduces a new itinerary that includes an 11-night cruise to the Black Sea, with stops at ports in Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania, such as Syros, Varna, Constanza, and Burgas. This offering aims to showcase culturally rich yet less-visited locations.

Crown Iris is scheduled to operate until late December 2025, featuring a diverse lineup of itineraries highlighting the Mediterranean’s coastal treasures. Originally launched as Royal Majesty for Majesty Cruise Line, the ship has seen several upgrades, including a significant lengthening project in 1999, which enhanced its stateroom capacity and public spaces. The vessel has previously sailed under various cruise lines, demonstrating its adaptability within the cruise industry.
