Marella Cruises UK Unveils 2026 Winter Program: Expanded Ports and Itineraries Await!

Marella Cruises, managed by TUI, has unveiled its winter 2026 program, featuring new itineraries and a return to several ports that have not been visited in over a decade. The updated schedule includes notable destinations such as La Goulette in Tunisia, Vigo in Spain, Leixões in Portugal, and Tangier in Morocco, with bookings set to open on July 3, 2025.

The Marella Explorer 2, an adult-only ship, will sail from Dubrovnik to Malaga on October 29, 2026. This journey, dubbed ‘Mediterranean Moments’, will make stops in Valletta, La Goulette, Alicante, and Almeria. This marks Marella’s first return to Tunisian ports in ten years.

Additionally, the Marella Discovery 2, also an adult-only vessel, will reposition from Malaga to Las Palmas on November 13, 2026, starting its winter Canary Islands season. This route, named ‘Atlantic Treasures’, includes visits to Tangier, Lisbon, Arrecife, Puerto del Rosario, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Marella’s fleet will operate across various European and Caribbean homeports. The Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Voyager will be based out of Barbados, while the Marella Discovery will depart from La Romana, Dominican Republic, before transitioning to Majorca in March 2027. Other routes in the Caribbean include ‘Cocktails and Coconuts’ from Bridgetown, visiting several islands, as well as ‘Exotic Islands’, which will stop at Destinations like St Lucia and Curaçao.

Expanding its Cruise & Stay options, Marella now offers 22 additional hotels in Cyprus, Croatia, Corfu, and Spain, bringing the total to 165 hotels available through TUI. Guests will also have access to flights from 14 UK airports, along with overnight stays in various ports, including Funchal and Willemstad.

Chris Hackney, Managing Director of Marella Cruises, noted that the strategy includes diversifying destinations and enhancing the guest experience while continuing to meld cruise and hotel services. All Marella Cruises operate on an all-inclusive basis, and the fares for the winter 2026 ‘Island Explorer’ itinerary will start at GBP 1,104, with booking opening on July 3, 2025.
